Keyue Luo is engaged in intellectual property litigation and non-litigation business. Keyue used to work in the Red Circle law firm in China, King & Wood Mallesons, and now she is independent and planning her own law firm with her cooperative partners.
Luo graduated from UConn Law in 2019 with a LLM in Intellectual Property and Information Governance.
"Starting from the master's degree, when I graduated, the LLM degree was an advantageous condition for us to find jobs. The foreign-related intellectual property courses and experience enabled me to successfully get my first job in a foreign firm. It was this job that started my initial intention to engage in intellectual property business. Since then, I have been engaged in intellectual property business" said Luo.
In terms of Luo's major, intellectual property business in China is booming, and a large number of foreign enterprises have the need to start intellectual property layout in China, so she immediately joined a foreign firm Bird & Bird after graduation, mainly assisting foreign enterprises in trademark and copyright business in China. Later, in consideration of career development, she left the firm and joined KWM IP Litigation Department to engage in intellectual property litigation.
Luo said, "I think what I learned from LLM program has laid a solid knowledge foundation for me."
